The foundations of our store began in 2008 when Rosanna created her first line of greeting cards on her printing press from 1880. We continue to design and print greeting cards and notebooks in our Los Angeles studio. Our products are also sold in many lovely boutiques across the country and the full line is available in our own stores.

Rosanna opened the first Shorthand store in 2016 - 8 years after starting her line of letterpressed products. It was an opportunity to sell a few greeting cards from the front of her studio - and the store has blossomed into so much more. The heart of the business is her passion for the people who work at Shorthand, and who come through the doors every day.
