Returns
Any unused item in original saleable condition along with a receipt or order number may be returned within 15 days. Returns are processed at our discretion. Refund payments will be processed to the original method of payment.
If an item is found to be damaged or defective upon purchase, please contact us right away to process your replacement or refund. Please do not send the damaged or defective item directly to the manufacturer.
Regular priced items may be refunded, all discounted items are considered Final Sale.
Exchanges are possible, but stock levels are not guaranteed. If you'd like to exchange your purchase, give us a call or send an email to find out if the product you're looking for is in stock. Product must be in original saleable condition to be exchanged.
In the event that the original payment method is not present, store credit will be issued.
Any items purchased for production (photo or video shoot) cannot be returned and are final sale.
Online orders:
If you would like to return an item you purchased online, please send us an email, including your order number so we are aware you will be sending back your item. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email confirming we have received your returned item. Once your refund has been approved a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, usually within 3-5 business days. If the item is not available for refund (for example, it is not in original saleable condition), we will communicate regarding next steps.
If you have received an order in error or there has been damage sustained to products during shipping, please let us know right away and we will get your order straightened out.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If you are shipping an item over $75, please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@shopshorthand.com.
